🚒 Guess What Daddy Does? A Firefighter-Themed Newborn Session

I absolutely love a challenge when it comes to newborn photography… and this session definitely gave me one!

When this little guy came into the studio, Mum gave me a very important clue:

“Daddy is a firefighter.”

Well, challenge accepted! 🔥👨‍🚒

I wanted to create something really special and personal for this little one, so we brought the firefighter theme into the newborn set-up. And honestly… how cute is he?!

There is something I love about creating newborn photographs that aren't just beautiful, but actually tell a little story about the family. A baby's first photographs are even more special when we can include little details that represent their parents, their personalities and the things that make their family unique.

🔥 From fire station to photo studio

Creating themed newborn sessions is always fun because I get to put my imagination to work.

Instead of simply using traditional newborn props, I wanted to create a tiny firefighter-inspired scene — complete with all the little details to make it feel like his own miniature fire station.

And of course, the star of the show was this gorgeous little baby boy.

He may be tiny now, but with a firefighter for a daddy, I think he's already got one very important job…
